Beer lovers rejoice! The craft beer bar scene is alive and well in Sarasota and one of its newest pubs, Hoppy Endings, is located nearby at 2029 Beneva near Webber. H&R Trains
All aboard to the model railroader’s Mecca, H&R Trains in Pinellas Park. It may be 45 miles away, but it’s a must trip for anyone who loves model trains. Trains are always running; there’s even a “Little Engineer’s Club” for kids 3 to 7. They learn about trains, do a craft projects and even get the chance to run the garden railroad.

Forget traveling to California for great grapes. Just head North on 75 to the Florida Estates Winery’s Wine Festival on May 14th or 28th. The Manatee Viewing Center offers visitors the chance to get up close to the mystical manatee, who visit the Center by the hundreds when the Bay waters are 68 degrees or colder. You can also enjoy butterfly gardens, feel the force of a hurricane, and stroll along a 900-foot tidal walkway. Open until April 15th, it’s an experience you’ll never forget.
